The project DIGITAL CITIZEN has continued to offer representatives of 10 public libraries educational workshops

Two Fridays in a row, about 20 representatives from 10 public libraries in Kosovo had the opportunity to attend two (2) online educational workshops on the topic “General knowledge on IT” and “micro: bit”.

Last year, Kosova Makers League through the project “DIGITAL CITIZEN” donated technological equipment such as micro: bit, BONSON Kits and 3D Printer in these 10 public libraries of Kosovo. Due to the fact that libraries present the best places to learn new skills and competencies, through this project, in addition to donating technological equipment, educational workers have to support the staff of libraries in increasing their digital capacity to use the equipment, so that in the future they transfer the knowledge gained to their community through the organization of educational workshops.

The public libraries included in this project are from 9 municipalities of Kosovo:

1) “Hivzi Sylejmani” – Prishtina

2)  “Pjetër Bogdani” – Prishtina

3)  “Azem Shkreli” – Peja
