Kosova Makers League during 2019 has also launched the high school competition division which has passed the pilot phase and is now called “KML Creative Challenge”.
This league is designed for high schoolers and uses equipment like Arduino Kit and Sensor Kit.
Through this league, students learn in greater detail about a creative challenge based on the United Nations (UN).
Each team should have one to three mentors and up to five students. A mentor can be anyone from the school staff, parents, or outside professionals who express a willingness to work with the respective team.
Students will design and make prototypes of solutions to everyday problems by combining various innovative and technological forms.
The teams go through several stages to reach the final product. Students are first introduced to the project as a whole and the equipment that they will be using during the competition.
After the boot-camp phase, they embark on the process of creating in their schools, always having the opportunity to work with other equipment available at the BONEVET spaces.
At the end of the process, each team presents the final product to a professional jury.
